Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum - The Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum is the only museum in the United States dedicated to contemporary design and design history.
National Design Award - The National Design Award, founded in 1997, is funded and awarded by the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Awards are given to contemporary inventors and creators in six categories:
Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles - The Museum of Contemporary Art is located in Los Angeles, MOCA has three locations: its original "temporary" space is now known as the Geffen Contemporary, in the Little Tokyo district; the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood; and the museum's main branch, located on Grand Avenue in downtown across the street from the newer Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Jam Factory, Adelaide - Located in Adelaide's West End, The Jam Factory (properly JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design) is a world-renowned contemporary craft and design centre and retail outlet with a focus on South Australian artists and having four major artistic directions (Ceramics, Furniture, Metal and Glass). In May 2005, the Jam Factory hosted 1000 glassmakers from 25 countries for the 35th Glass Arts Society (GAS) conference, the first in the southern hemisphere.
